I was trying to find some extra specifics on setting limiters in a Crown iTech (8000 to be exact). In the "RMS Power" side of the output limiter section there is a threshold, attack and release which I get, but what does the "Rated(nominal)" do? Is it a rated power of the driver or a ohm value?
My next question is say I have two 8 ohm speakers that are rated for 1000 watts each (just for an example). I am assuming that would be a 2000 watt threshold on the rms limiter?
I saw the application guide in the iTech section on the crown website, but is there any more documentation that goes more in depth in regards to the controls with itech and system architect?
Thanks!
