No we do not have any plans to support System Architect running natively on a Mac. It does run happily within a virtual machine on a Mac though.

We've had great success with loading into Windows in bootcamp and with VMware Fusion as a virtual machine within OS X. Our experience hasn't been so great with Parallels Desktop, if that helps...

Okay, thanks.
I still think that System Architect to run through a virtual machine is not very comfortable.

At the moment it's just a case of economics. We can't afford the resources required to get it to run on a Mac. As you may know, System Architect is built on Microsoft's .NET framework. Getting it to run on anything other than Windows is no small task. There are third party tools that claim to allow .NET applications to run on Linux, Mac etc, but they have serious limitations. See Mono.

Hello Graham, Sorry to hear that there is no intention to get System Architect running under OSX. We switched over to mac 5 years ago and everyday we love the stabilitiy and user friendlyness of the Mac. It's also the reason we use Meyer Sound Gallieo's to drive our I-tech/Vertec rigs. I still hope that Harman as a worldwide concern will change it opinion about this. At this time there are more and more manufactures that make their software also for the mac (Meyer, D&B, Shure).

System Architect on Mac
I hope you guys will reconsider this. Every school teaching pro audio is now using Apple computers as the computer of choice. Although your software will run in a virtual environment it is unstable and unreliable. Every other sound company out there makes there software for both. Please push this along the line, I mean you are already making an app for the iPhone for christ sakes! How many signatures do I need to get for you guys can take this seriously, I can get every employee at Clair-Showco and Audio Analyst to sign.
