Sound Technology Ltd, UK/ROI distributor of HARMAN’s JBL Professsional, is pleased to announce UK availability of the new VTX V20 line array system and a launch event to be held at London LH2 Studios production facility on Tuesday 15th July. The launch and listening experience will be attended by JBL VTX Series designer himself, Paul Bauman, and will feature a full VTX V20 performance system, powered by Crown i-Tech 4 x 3500 HD V-Racks.
The VTX V20 features the advanced technology and extraordinary performance of the groundbreaking VTX V25 in a smaller format, high power density 3-way system complemented by a new suspension system that provides efficient transport, fast setup and precise configuration. All VTX V20 components have been specifically engineered to provide stable 110 degree horizontal coverage and effective line source array coupling in the vertical plane while delivering linear, transparent sound up to surprisingly high output levels for its diminutive size.
The JBL VTX V20 loudspeaker features a true 3-way system design with proprietary D2 Dual Diaphragm Dual Voice Coil compression driver and Differential Drive™ low frequency transducer technology along with patent-pending ultra-linear motor technology employed for midrange components. In keeping with the philosophy of the VTX Series, the VTX V20 has extremely high power density with each line array element featuring two 2261H 10-inch Differential Drive™ woofers, four 2164H 4-inch ultra-linear midrange transducers and three of the new small-format D2415K Dual Drivers.
Presented by JBL Professional’s Paul Bauman this will be an opportunity to hear the system, see the new fast suspension system, and discover first hand the story behind the VTX Series design. Paul has been a member of the JBL Professional team for the past eight years and has been responsible for the product development of the acclaimed JBL VTX Series.
